Its not the ducks getting to them chickens its the chickens flying to the ducks 😒
I thought about clipping the chickens but I am in a woody area and feel that woild harm their chances if they need to get away
So when I go chickens got kinda guilted in to 2 ducks, found out they are both boys and learned that I have to seperate them and finally seperated the area but now some of the chickens that grew up with the ducks like to magically get over the fence and hang out with the ducks...sooo I know its...

I do get worried because well you know google not always your friend and you are right being new doesnt help, not because I'm worried eggs aren't pretty just that I'm doing the best I can for them.
Is there any suggestions on what to do to keep them out of these eggs?? I'm catching them half the time trying to eat them and I already try to constantly check, even get up earlier and still miss the egg before they get to at leat a bit of it. I have fake eggs in there and they leave them alone...
Yea I don't give it daily I only did a little test period to see if it would change anything but then got confused why good shells on it for all and back to usual off.

Well the instructions say let that be the only water source but from what I've read about ducks you shouldn't take their pool away thats where I was confused
I do have a roo and 2 older hens (as in 2yrs old) but the 4 young hens (chickens) and the 2 ducks grew up together, same brooder. And they do have separate coops.
And I understand nothing is guaranteed but if the main consensus is to separate the yard I almost feel it would be better to rehome...
