Thank you all very much for your input Ive just been feeding my girls the egg shell and the eggs ive been getting back seem firm soooo I guess all is well?!?! Ill make sure I keep an eye out for soft shells and add the oyster if needed
I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on feeding egg shell vs. oyster shell?!?! I always dry my egg shells, crush them and then feed them to my girls....but I wonder if I could just stop feeding the oyster shell since im feeding the egg shell!?!?

I got a 50lb bag of all-purpose sand yesterday & all the chicks and the adults are just in heaven with it LOL They act like little puppy dogs rolling all around in it heeheee

So I just decided to change my brooder around for easier cleanup and to try and cut down on the smell. I ended up going with all-purpose sand and the chicks (2 weeks and 3 weeks of age) LOOOVE it! They are rolling all around in it and having a great time. Since they already know their food...

Has anyone every heard of feeding something called soybean mill in with the pullet food? I was told you can get it at tractor supply and thats its good to prevent eggbound hens.....I cant find any info on it anywhere:hu
