    I think so? But not super well? since they are shipped I’d want to candle them at least once to make sure nothing explodes in the incubator

    Following for moral support 😊 If the incubator stays steady around 99.3 that’s fine, my incubator needed to be calibrated up to 102 to maintain correct temp last time

    I would probably try putting him with them for a short period and see how he behaves, if he behaves poorly then separate him, some cockerels can be nice and understanding and others are jerks, I usually keep mine together if they behave but I have an older rooster who keeps everyone in check

    I wish I could get chocolate Pekin bantams but they are very rare and only exist with one or two breeders in my country A friend is offering me a Marans rooster to cross with my Pekin hens to create some interesting hybrids so I might do that

    10 is named potato and she and 6 are very very friendly, will fall asleep on your hand if you pick them up and pat them

    Thought I’d share the results of my latest batch, now four weeks old, I had amazing luck, only five Roos out of 16!!! Lots of interesting colours here, let me know what you think of them and who your favourite chick is 🐣🐣😁
