    My duck ate a 2ft plastic string!! ohh my gosh is he gonna die??(pics)

Yes he did make it and is doing fine, I am happy to report :) The string wasn't a very durable plastic so he must have digested it, it was never found in his duckpoo, It was kind of like a tough version of the plastic that walmart bags are made of.     Beaker the Muscovy...boy or girl?

    Can you post a picture of him/her from the side showing the thickness of the legs and body length? The small feet makes me think its a hen, but if the body is very long then it could be a drake. Also that looks like the beginning of some large caruncles on its face, a male quality. How old is s/he?

    In celebration of his recovery after his brush with death, I'd like to share some videos of my dear Muscovy drake McIntosh. I've had him since he hatched a year and a half ago :) I'll post some videos of him when he was younger after I find them.

    Thank you for your warm wishes. Now that I figured out how to upload videos maybe I'll try to post some fun ones of him instead of sad ones. He really is a character, I used to take him to a park for walks and he would fly a couple of laps around the pond and come back and land next to me :)...

    Thank you everyone so much for your help!!! My boyfriend reported that he started improving while I was at the fish store getting charcoal. I crushed up the charcoal and a little epson salt and put it inside some cherry tomatoes anyway just in case - thank god he ate them or I would have had...
