There is water tray's in the bottom of the incubator that you fill with water to keep humidity up, I have a little giant incubator I bought at tractor supply it's similar to this one. I live in a verrrrry dry area so I have to add wet paper towels to my incubator to keep the humidity up.

Yes, you can do that... Then after you candle around day 10 or so, just take out the ones that aren't any good to make room for the stacked ones. Good Luck hatching!!!!!
Agreed Good luck with your hatch!
I get paper towels or rags and wet them with warm water and put it on the bottom of the incubator, it always brings the humidity up. I have also experimented with sponges ande they seem to not work very well.
Yes, they can be set tomorrow with a good hatch rate. Just as long as they don't set for more than a week. After that you pretty much loose all fertility.

I'll post some pics next week to see if they change any. I have a whole bunch of chicks that have the same wattle and comb size, I hope they all don't turn out to be roosters! lol

Here's the first chick, its a mixed frizzle cochin bantam:
Here's the second chick, its a buff cochin bantam:
They are both the same age.

Never bought eggs from MPC. I have experimented with ebay alot and it seems to be a whole lot cheaper to buy eggs from ebay. I have had excellent hatch rates from ebay too. I bought six cochin bantam eggs from a lady on ebay she also sent me an extra maran egg along with them. I had an excellent...
I recently bought some muscovy eggs on BYC and there really isn't that much information online about incubation of muscovy eggs. One website said it takes about 35 days for incubation, and another said about 38 days. Any other information about muscovy incubation would be great! Also, I have a...
