    thanks for the post. We also received 20 rare heritage turkeys from a reputable source on wed. and 3 have died so far. We're still in the percentages of survival, but was not happy that 3 died in 4 days. Let's hope that there is no more problems for you, sorry to hear this.

    Hi all, We're considering adding a rooster to our small flock, but there is an aesthetic question: how or can we avoid that back/tail bare spot, that we see at big flocks with multiple roosters!? Is this just an unavoidable side effect of a rooster mating?

    Hi all, newbie here! We have 6 new chicks, 1 BO, 2 EE, 1 GW, 1 SW. And two very happy little girls (3 and 5)... Wondering if the new chicks will imprint with both girls? Or should we have the older child bond more closely with the group?
