Well, I don't actually know if that's the problem. Dawg53 says most likely. I don't know what's wrong with her, that's why I was asking. I also don't know what to deworm her with, all we have around is Piperazine. I've read different opinions on here as to what to worm with. If you have a...

More information, she's laying eggs. She is only drinking water. Only picked at a pear, and some scraps yesterday. She's still acting drowsy, and doesn't do anything.

My chicken is about 8 months. Has been laying around, and not eating. Her poop is almost pure water. A little white, and some green grass remains. Her crop feels like it's about 1/4 full of water. Her comb is cold, not the usual temp. Oh, and she's been pooping like that for awhile. Her bum...

What color sex link is an Isa Brown?

Reddish combs/wattles one day then the next day they are pale. Why?

Mine always get red when they run! All of them. They get excited, or upset, and their faces get all red. If we hold them, and they calm down they go to pale peach/skin color. I don't know why, but for mine it's from the excitement.

How old should they be before I clip their wings?

One wing. They can learn to fly (again) with both wings clipped. Scissors to feathers, yeah way easier then holding down a dog. : ) I am going to wait until I find an escapee before I clip their wings. So far, so good. Mine fly some, but never away from their fellow companions. They don't go...

    feeder and waterer questions?

Oh, and metal vs. plastic. I make my own, and would advise whatever will not get algae in it! So go with non-clear.

    feeder and waterer questions?

I don't think it matters that much. If your chickens know the water/food is in the coop, they will go in when they are hungry. Mine do drink more water if it is available to them outside. But I know they find water outside when it is wet. I've seen them sucking it off the fence! I leave my food...
