Pros - Less space needed, and personality plus!
Cons- Smaller eggs if you mind, Roos have higher pitched crows if that bugs you, and can be fiesty.
They usually intermix and hold their own well with non-banties though. Except in the case of big rooster little hens, not ideal.

My BO rooster is very gentle, and somewhat shy. Though he is the biggest roo I have he is also the lowest in the pecking order, the ladies love him though because he isn't so aggressive as the others sometimes can be to them. He has never harmed a soul as far as I've seen. kids just love him...
