How Old Is Your Oldest Chicken?

Discussion in 'Managing Your Flock' started by The Funky Chicken Dunce, Jul 28, 2011.

  1. Curious as I've only had chickens die of unnatural causes so far...

What age was or is your oldest chicken ever?
    What breed was it?
And anything else you want to tell about it, thanks! [IMG]

My first ever chicken, was a New Hampshire Red and right now she is 4 years old. You wouln't now she was though, because she is as healthy looking as ever, and is top of the pack. [IMG]
