What tastes do Dogs hate the taste of?

Yeah...most dogs will eat anything. Are you trying to make them stop eating or chewing on something?

    Bought a horse!!

Use to ride a Percheron, a bit bigger then your's at 18HH. He was a dopey thing, but sweet as could be. Always have been a fan of draft horses. She is really cute, and has a kind look to her. You guys seem to have made a solid purchase.

Strangest Dog Breed Mix You've Seen

I have a rottie/dachshund mix...normal body length and girth for a rottie on about six inch legs...now he looks interesting. Has the head of a dachshund though.

    Drug test for welfare recipients

I've taken about a urinalysis about four times and have like three to go within the next week. This is to join the Navy. I'm thinking if you want to take my tax money you can take a piss test also. There are plenty of people out there who legitimately need the help, they shouldn't have a problem...

Saying Adios to the Rooster, What to Expect...

Haha well that is good. Yes, mine is a bit of a butt. He has had many strikes against him and when he went after my nephew I had enough. Luckily one of the dogs was standing there and the rooster didn't feel brave enough to deal with some pit bull teeth. He had been tearing up the back of one of...

    Blue Seal vs. Southern States

I would love to buy from a mill, well once I get back. But it is just easier for the family while I'm gone to go to where they know they can get the feed. I will probably have to ask around and see where everyone around here gets their feed. And I actually opened up two bags of Blue Seal...

    Blue Seal vs. Southern States

As someone asked I come back and tell my findings...I'm switching back to Blue Seal. I tried Southern States for a little while, a couple months. But they seem to eat a lot more of the Southern States, as if they aren't getting enough nutrition from it. I tried dumor a while back, and although...

Saying Adios to the Rooster, What to Expect...

Alright sounds about to be what I expected. And yes, Bobbi-J, I leave for basic soon and I brought these chickens here, the least I can do it take responsibility. But thank you all, just even the knowledge that there will be some scuffs is better then being clueless.

Saying Adios to the Rooster, What to Expect...

I have the chance to get rid of my rooster. Which is excellent as he keeps going after my family and I am leaving soon. He will be going to a nice couple with no kids and lots of space. And if it doesn't work out, a nice stew pot. So anyways I will be left with ten hens, probably eight if I am...

can chickens refuse to lay at will?

Maybe you could try putting something in the woods that they would lay in. I know I've read that some people who let their hens free-range, over a lot of land, will put out little egg laying huts and just check those everyday.

    Dog Attack!!!

I have found it is easier just to say some mixed, medium breed dog. Considering the majority of people can't tell you the difference from a Scotts American Bulldog, a Dogo Argentino, and a pit bull. Not to mention the heated fights that arise. Being the owner of two pits, neither of whom have...

    Fast help? Hens 2morrow

Yeah my coop is 10x12 and I would probably only put twenty in mine, at the most.

Wyandottes, Silkies, and Polishes Oh My!

Okay so here is the situation. I currently have a flock of ten hens, eight wyandottes and two leghorns, and a rooster. Then the two pekin drakes. My friend is getting out of breeding chickens, decided it wasn't for him. He has some show quality Polishes, Silkies, and Americuanas. Knowing I have...

Wow she is a thick girl. My sister's, Harper, is a little less thick then that. But still pretty thick. I love her chocolate color.

Adorable Pit Bulls~ post pics! Here's mine

Yeah, everyone thinks she is a boy. I have to apologize to her every time someone calls her a boy. Her body is a lot more lean, boxer type then pit bull though. Her sister has more of a pit body. But Murphy is a peculiar dog, that is for certain.

No one around here wants to do the dishes

Lucky for me, who hates doing dishes, I can usually trade cleaning the kitchen for washing my sister's laundry. I don't mind so much the laundry, but not a fan of dishes in the least bit. I unload the dishwasher in the morning and make sure to rinse and load my own stuff. But even with an empty...

    Cattle Dogs (Queensland) Changing?

I have no idea as I don't really look into cattle dogs. I love their coloring and their lean bodies. The last two pictures don't even look like pure cattle dogs to me. The first looks like an obese mix of a cattle dog and the second kind of looks like a cattle dog coat, and that is the only...

Adorable Pit Bulls~ post pics! Here's mine

This is Gabby, my niece, and my pit mix Murphy. She is a people pleaser and has yet to find a person she didn't love...even if usually it is a little too much. This is one of my favorites. This is Murphy and Harper, sisters for my sister and I. Here they are about a year or so old. The...
