I hatched out 4 of these little chicks last week from Bargain(1-white and 3-black). They have five toes and have the cutest little puff balls on top of their heads as my kids call it.

Eek I found the culprit. I was my Blue Copper Maran egg I knew it was IT without even getting it too close to my nose. When I threw it out it popped. I am glad I got it out of the incubator before it popped and I had to clean that mess up.

It is time for my mid day turning of the eggs so I will give each one a sniff as I turn them. Lord I hope I don't get sick on them.

I agree contact the breeder and tell them about the losses. As for others make sure they are eating and drinking and not just staring at it. I have a poult now I am having to watch closely because it is just staring at the food and water.
