    I also think Greenfire is way overpriced. Nice but not that nice. I don't know, if you can recoup your investment for what you would pay to establish a breeding flock. Just wait a year or two and you will see the prices slowly come down. The Marans did. I do like their birds.

    I keep a feeder in the coop 24/7 for the 10 hens to eat at will. My question is do the hens need extra nutrients? I have heard some people place a Flock Block in the pen with the chickens. Thanks

    I was at a feed store yesterday and looked in a watering tank that they keep chicks in to sell. There was one lone chick in it with pasty butt. I felt sorry for it and talked to the clerk about it. He cleaned the little thing. I hope it will make it.
