Is anyone planning to cross a french copper with a blue this year? We had a French copper / blue cross last year and unfortunately it was killed by a raccoon who is now in the afterlife. We really want to get another. She was the light slate blue color with a rust colored collar.

All the Tolbunt Polish birds i have seen definitely do not have that much black on them. I was thinking she was a mix or something. I see a lot of black with white crests, but this one also has the brown mixed in faintly. She is getting some iridescence in her neck feathers which is mixed...

Here are pics of the Polish i inquired about. I got this Polish as a chick and was told it was a tolbunt polish, which was ordered from greenfire farms but i believe i got something else. I could not locate any other polish chickens being sold by Greenfire though. Who knows.

OK...so i have a 3 month old polish. How can i tell if it is a rooster or a hen? I never had one before and this one was picked out by my 2.5 year old daughter. She loves it to death but no rooster at my house...so i need to figure out if he is going to be changed out or not. I will post...

Just a quick question. I got a Tolbunt Polish chick recently that is a month old. It is all black with a white hood and a bit of white on the wings. Should I expect this chick to remain this color?? The chick came from greenfire farms.
