    Help with pipped egg

I have no idea. In the afternoon, I could see his little beak moving about through the hole and by night, he was no longer moving. I still have 9 eggs in the 'bator'.... I'm afraid to open it to remove the little guy. What to do?!?!

The one chick has died in the egg. :( Should I remove it? Nothing has happened with the other eggs yet. How's your hatch coming?

    Help with pipped egg

Setting eggs on 3/7. Anyone else?

Thanks for the advice! I removed the turner and upped the humidity (a tad). I came home to a baby stumbling about the incubator. Six other eggs have pipped. There hasn't been a lot of action since then, though. (Ha! I just heard a few loud chirps from the other room). Just HOW much water...

Setting eggs on 3/7. Anyone else?

I ordered eggs from three different sellers through eBay. Two sets came on the same day. The other set was lost in the mail (Though it was actually sent out first). I decided to start incubating the first two sets anyway. And a week later, the third batch arrived! I took the chance (it had...

Indeed! And thanks! This IS my homepage, so - can't miss it! I will miss raising all my birds. I have such a beautiful coop and a diverse collection of hens...including a shipment of growing bantam chicks that I ordered from Ideal only a few weeks ago.
