    Help with roosting ledge

    My bramahs are about a year old and full grown. They dont fly well but they can.. My coop is 4 ft. High and they have no problem jumping up on the top of the door to the run.     What kind of chicken to get?

    Same breeds as listed above IDE go with..... Try to stick to the same age if possible.....if you let them out for a few days put them out with the others so they see the newbies but they also have from to move around and get away if being pecked.....then if you have a way to put them in the soop...

    I had same thing happen last summer I added black sunflower seeds to their feed....they. Eat feathers when they do not get enough proteins by feeding the sunflower seeds it usually makes them stop eating feathers ....there is a scientific reason behinfpd it but I forget maby the added proteins...
