Connecticut!

Ok thanks keep me posted,I just hatched out some cool Icelandic chicks that I got eggs from a woman in Burlington,I'm hoping I get a male. The unique thing about them is none look the same, also have 3 real nice full pure black orp females was gonna breed with a blue roo but he died over the winter.

Hi! I have some Easter Eggers, Black Copper Maran, Sicilian Buttercup, and an Olive Egger that I think might really be an Ameraucana...she just started laying light minty-blue. I also hatched two Barnevelder that are about 12 weeks old. I still am not 100% sure of the sex...I'm thinking roo, and may have to re-home them, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed, as I hear that they can be tough to sex correctly until they are about 17 weeks. I also have two Columbian Wyandotte and a Golden Campine on order...hopefully for this week. And (yes, I'm not obsessed!), I will try hatching Cream Legbar in a few weeks.

I'm near the Stevenson Dam...how about you?

Tom

I don't have any that I'm selling, myself. I have a great breeder in New York. I work down that way, so if there's something you'd particularly like, I can find out and maybe deliver them for you?

I believe my Willow died of being egg bound. I did not send her out for necropsy. I had already buried her, when someone mentioned I should send her to UConn.. We noticed we had not gotten 4 eggs in almost a week. Not realizing that someone was not laying. We would 3 one day, 2 the next.

Now we write down how many eggs we get a day, and who laid them. (Yes, I can tell who's eggs they are by the size and color. ) With only 3 hens it is not hard to tell.
