Connecticut!

Have you guys bought any chicks from tsc yet, they have been getting a pretty good variety between the Farmington and barkhampsted store but I've also checked out the Vernon and enfield tsc too.

He's still technically a cockerel. He's 5.5 mos and a real beauty. I'm trying to place him somewhere as a pet not dinner. I'm attached as I hatched these out and spent a lot of time with them. Managed to place 3 on a farm in higganum. Three left but black is the most stunning so I'm hoping he be a desirable addition to breed

[quote. name="CaCO3". Maybe I would have some room since I have 3 black orp hens about 6or7 months but quid have to quarantine him first, let me know url="/t/55/connecticut/5700#post_10807329"]He's still technically a cockerel. Wouldn't have to worry about it being killed I would place it first if it came to that inless it was really sufferingWe don't keep chickens for meat only eggs and pets

If you can keep a rooster I'd love to give him to you. Yes quarantine at first is standard, agreed. He is currently in "quarantine" right now with his two bros in my garage due to a little incident with my neighbor complaining (farmington is no-rooster zone). There's a pic of him under chickens 8 weeks & up. He's fertile I just hatched one and am waiting on a few more crosses to hatch with what appears to be his trsyte with the faverolle hen. I must warn you he seems to have a little silkie fetish. PM me if you want to get more info.
