I got 2 which look to be all lav color course till they all feather out we wont know but I am hoping and I have one that looks like your last one lav and and yellow a total of 6 hatched out I am happy now I have to wait for them to feather out......
I dont like ugly butts either....I use blucote on ugly butts just in case its other hens pulling those feathers.....but if its not red or irratated she just may be proud of her fanny and wants to show it.....but try blucote or blue spray and see if that helps you

could it be mold that has come in on your hay? if it was put up a bit wet that could be a problem....have had that problem here....have done away with using hay completly....will use pine chips over straw or hay anyday...
in other words pull up those big boy/girl panties and get on with life.....and get a really good gun....or thats my excuse to buy a new gun and eggs anyway lol
that dog tasted blood...I dont care what anyone says you get more chickens he will be back...you know they are not going to take the time to retrain him.I have lost to many chickens to the neighbors dogs...I warned them once 20 years ago now I shoot to kill and they know it...I love my chickens...
I am wondering if a rib didnt break...but mother nature heals alot of things if she is eating and drinking leave her be just try some extra treats....and a good rifle might be a good thing to have handy your bear will be back...

she needs to be sprayed with blue kote as long as it stays red the other hen is gonna peck at it.....also make sure they are getting a balanced laying crumble....and maybe buy some frozen corn on the cob and throw one in their pen to give that one hen something else to pick at.....but blue...
I love those birds but not the NN are they mixed? or can I bid on just the just the BLRWs? and I have huge incubators..... and they are nearly empty....I just have to convince my DH they are his Idea

my babies just hatched from these last night...you cannot believe how beautiful they are... a smoky blue ......I cant wait till fall to order more eggs
I love blue cote....and spray it at first sign of picking.....it hides the red skin that they are drawn to....I also use it on the other pets....and have been tempted to use it on skinned knees but the kids refuse...lol
number one you dont give them away you sell them....for some reason if you are giving them away people dont want them.....I dont understand it but true....place your ad only 5 left at 5 dollars will not have anymore this year first come first served...works every time....
