    I am a pennsylvanian that recently visited my mother in law in crossville, tn. is that considered middle tennessee? we went to the crossville flea market and i was surprised to see they had chickens for sale there...too bad we had a 10 hour drive home or i would have been buying some of those...

    Can i keep only one roo?

    i am very new to having chickens...i am in love. but, after posting on the breed ? forum, and finding out 3 of my 4 loved birds are roos....am i not going to be able to keep them all???? will i only be able to have 1 roo??? what am i going to do? my kids are in love. oh my! thanks for your help!

    here is a question...i wanted to do something similar, and my dad said it would stink...is that true? my deck is right near my kitchen, and when we have parties on the deck i dont want people to smell the chickens...is that going to be a problem putting them so close to the door of the house???
