Wow! Sorry to here about that! I don't know much but I was told if they are eating feathers that are needing protien. An old farmer told me to boil some eggs and give to them. They are high in protien! Maybe this will help!
I have notice that several of my BUFFS have right under there vents about the size of a baseball is missing feathers and has sores on them. What is going on should I be alarmed?
I have a buff orpington sitting on 6 eggs. She has been on nest for seven days now How long till I can candle the eggs to see if there growing? Also how long till they hatch?
I have 7 Buff's and I noticed lately that below there vents there wasn't any feathers. Now I have one that has a black infected spot there. I don't know what to do!
I am not sure whats wrong with her maybe nothing but I would seperate her from the others just in case and watch her. If somthing is wrong you will know pretty quick she won't like to be alone if she is ok. But give her a little time to be sure. I hope this helps!
