I have 7 Buff's and I noticed lately that below there vents there wasn't any feathers. Now I have one that has a black infected spot there. I don't know what to do!
 
check for mites/lice, but you may have a feather plucker in the group. The wound may be from the others seeing a redden area and pecking at it. I found blue kote to help, you spray it on the skin and they don't notice the bald spot and are less attracted to it and thus don't pluck out the new feathers. But if your hen has a sore you need to separate her from the others until she heals, the others could peck her to death
 
you get blue kote from a feed and supply store. It is a purple/blue (antiseptic, I think) spray that covers the exposed skin, so it is like spray paint and yes it will stain your fingers so be careful. I spray mine when they go to roost, they are much easier to control that way
