Here are some pic's of the outside of the coop. I buried hardware wire, a foot deep, around the whole coop. The coop is 8 feet high at the back and 6 and a half feet at the front. We put doors on each side at the front.

I read somewhere that you should lock them in their coop for 3 days when you first introduce them to it. Worked for me mine all head in about 20 minutes before dark. And as stated above add some ventilation to that coop! You are in a hot climate.
A 4 foot door can cause you problems. How are you going to frame it? If you buy a door that large it can be quite expensive. If you are making one yourself you will need to consider cross member supports or it will sag and be hard to open/close and not fit well. Bigger more expensive hinges will...
I will post some more pix soon. The coop is 12 X 16. I put (human size) doors on both sides. I have since added two openings on the front, with small doors for the chicks. I have attached "tunnels" and "cages" to allow me to move the cages around the yard and close the chicks up at night.
