I'm surprised you didn't scoop her up and take her home- from the picture it doesn't look like she is in anyones yard?? I would go and get my chicken back - try and find out who has been keeping her, thank them offer to reimburse them if you are in a position to do so (if there are kids attached...
It's 6 feet in the front (roof is sloped) We wanted to be able to walk in and out without crouching and figured it will make clean up easier- so far we have had an easy time of it!!
We wanted an inexpensive coop too!! All in all it was WAY cheaper than we could have bought one for!!
The footprint is 4x8 feet - we have three chickens. I imagine it would be plenty of space for 5 or 6, but I'm not 100%!! My husband built it to specifically fit in a truck bed so that we can move it if needed.
The coop is about 2.5 x 4 x 4 feet.
I'm so excited to finally be able to post a pic of our coop!!! My husband did most of the work out of found materials - the total cost was under $100!!! I am going to add some decorative elements but other than that it is good to go!!
