Interesting Rock Sister. I have no intention of getting any more guineas. These two are annoying enough for me. I did correctly sex them by their calls, as they are both laying.

I haven't tried them yet. I only have 3 so far, but I was too lazy to get the eggs today. The guineas haven't been laying in the nest boxes, just on the ground under their coop.

Really? They're tiny like pullet eggs. This is my 8 year old holding them. The guinea egg on the bottom, then an easter egger egg which is medium, then a brown egg which is large.

The guineas started laying. They are teeny eggs right now it's only been a couple days. Both of them are laying. :-)

I spoke too soon about my bantam rooster. Twice now I've caught him in the right position on the girls. I guess it took him a year to figure out he needed to sit further down on their back. :-P Oh well, he's still sweet and I get the eggs out every day.

He's about a year old. He's my only bantam. All my girls are full sized. Not to be too vulgar, but when I've seen him trying he just does his business on their back. I just keep him around cause he's cute and funny. And there's not a mean bone in him.

All very interesting. I need to listen closer to them. I /think/ they make the female sound, but they are so noisy I just try to block them out most of the time. Lol.

I have two guinea fowl who are about 8 months old, so no one has layed yet. I'm just wondering if you can tell what sex they are? They look the same to me and pics online look the same, but maybe I'm missing something since these are my first and only guinea fowl. Here's some pics of the two.
