Yes they will hid their nests. I have that lays on the coop floor and thw other two i have to track down. Not to close to them otherwise they will lead you everwhere but to where the nest is
My understanding is that yes a chicken rooster can breed with a guinea hen. There are a few threads on here about that.
How old is your bantam rooster? I have one and as he matured he got better at hitting the mark. Sometimes it comes with age lol.

It was stated that is is not 100% and even stated times when it was not the case. Yes it is a guess when sexing by shape/size but it is an educated one.
@ R2elk can you explain what exactly you are looking for in the size and shape? I am new to guineas have 3 females and one male and to me they look the same but then again I am not to sure what I am looking for in particular. I am assuming males are larger but what about the shape exactly?
They are seasonal layers march/april you start to see eggs if females. Females make both the buckwheat and chi calls. The males only make the chi. If you want to get them to call take one out of the enclosure they will call to each other.
