    That happened to me. When I took the rooster back a month later the idiot lady put it back in the pen with all the others. And the other chickens killed him. I told them not too. I was so upset.

    I did the same thing. I think some breeds can be done at 4 weeks.

    NEW to group. These are mix breed chicks. Five weeks old. The father is 1/2 araucana/bantam. The little black one is out of a silver lace hamburg. I think she is a pullet.
