    That looks like a pullet to me... well at least right now... I don't know the age... as your baby ages the comb could change... Silkie chicks are very hard to sex. Most people will tell you to wait for a crow or an egg lol

    That is very good news, I only have experience with sex-links, Plymouth Barred rocks, non-bearded Silkies and French Marans... the silkies and Marans were all cockerels lol

    The smaller one Zuri... Buffy Zuri again... I have 2 almost 8 week old buff Orpingtons, one is quite a bit bigger than the other, and has a larger comb. They are sexed chicks from my local feed store...

    That front bird looks like a black sex-link... or black star... if it is it would be a pullet. They start getting combs very early, and are large. However, I'm not an expert.

    This is a French Cuckoo Marans, is it a he or a she? It is approximately 12 1/2 weeks. I am only wondering because my little almost 4 month old silkie who just recently started crowing, chases this one and the little black one out of the coop. This was supposed to be a French Cuckoo as well...

    So, this is supposed to be a RIR pullet, but at 6 1/2 weeks or so, it's got the biggest comb of the group. Is it a roo? Is it a RIR? This came from assorted bantams I have no clue what she is.
