    Too funny - mine do the same. They want in my lap, they like when I look them in the eye and talk to them. And it isn't just for treats, because I go in and sit sometimes and bring nothing. Honestly, I do value the semi-reciprocal relationship a lot.

    We wanted day olds for that reason. The reds and a few of the others like to perch on a knee or forearm if my husband or I sit down in the coop or run. They let me stroke their backs and chest.
