Tonight it's stuffed green peppers, again cooked in a big bean pot surrounded by home canned stewed tomatoes....ho made garlic bread makes this heaven on earth!

Tonight it's Venison wieners smothered in ho-made sauerkraut made in the bean pot with scalloped potatoes and a craft beer for wash! Ho-made wiener buns with flax seed added for added goodness of nutrition.....GO PACK GO!

Tonight it is gonna be stuffed cabbage with baked potato and beets for the veggie...some ho-made buns will go good with that on this chilly, windy day here with a high temp of 30f. I can't wait till the snow is gone!
It's Fish Fry Friday here in Wisconsin...so of course it's fresh caught bluegills through the ice, with ho-made French fries made from garden spuds, fresh bread rolls, with cole slaw from the garden, the carrots and cabbage are keeping well...heaven in the badger state!

It's fish fry friday here, and were gonna have deep fryed haddock with home made frys. Yep the tatos are scrubbed and the skin is left on where it should be! Kinda tradition here.

Wisconsin is always fish frys on Friday....used the outside cooker for catfish from the mississippi, and home grown yucon Gold potato frys, all fryed to a golden perfection....Ice cold beer for wash....heaven in the badger state.

The butcher had whole pork loin on sale for 1.89 lb. Just had to buy and cut one up for the freezer.
I cut boneless chops prolly 1 1/4 thick for stuffing with homemade sage stuffing and frozen sweet corn, and a baked potato.

This Evening, I'm keeping things simple. We canned and froze 9 doz ears of sweet corn today. I picked out 12 nice cobs for the wood fired grill. I'm just having corn tonight.

Tonight it is a chuck roast on the grill with roasted onions. It works really well to use the smaller garden onions from the harevst, by placing them on the grill whole, in their skins, roots down. When they become soft, they are done. Simply cut the root end, and squezze the onion out....simply...
Tonight, it's venison loins on the apple wood grill, with green and purple peppers, and whole onions, that turn out very sweet. Along side that, I have potato pockets, that include garlic, and oregeno for spice.... of course I'm enjoying a long tall cold one, while being the grill master...
Everyone eats devine, eh?
Tonight it was fresh sweet corn on the grill. (I love to grill) with steak, onion, pepperjack cheese, green pepper, quesadilla's made with corn tortillas. I was too lazy to make the flour ones from scratch today. They were still delicious though....

I was busy today, so I'm going to doctor up a frozen pepperoni pizza, with green peppers, onions, green olives, and a ton of pepper jack cheese....it works in a pinch.
