So no babies again this afternoon. So we opened one and it was a baby. But it was still very small with some developing furry ness and and eye and beak. Then we opened one that was cracked some and it was a rotten egg.
Yeah. None of the other have piped from what I can tell. I guess we will just keep them in there for a couple more days and just see. We got a lot of eggs or we might order some other kinds of quail. But yeah. Thanks for your help!
The temp is now at 99.9. Perfect temp. My husband was able to get it there. As long as I don't touch it again when I check the eggs and put more water in for humidity will it go back to 99.9? And with a still air do I need to have humidity? Hopefully our little 4 ish hours of 110 won't be too...
I'm just really sorta freaking out. I know that you arent Suppose to tweak it and it'll warm back up but I was thinking properly. I'm hoping I didn't kill them. I exchanged some of the ones in there for new ones. Just a couple to see if I made a mistake. But now I'm worried about it being below...
This is exactly what I did. It had dropped when I put the eggs in and thinking it wasn't going to get back up I turned it just a touch and it went up to 110. But like I said only for about 4 hours. This morning when I looked it was down to 97.5. Not sure if I need to touch it again or will they...
I got a new batch of eggs and when I left it was below 99.9 and i came back after turning it a hair and it was up to 110. I just got them. They ace been in a bator for less then 8 hours. Are they dead?
