Help!!

The temp is now at 99.9. Perfect temp. My husband was able to get it there. As long as I don't touch it again when I check the eggs and put more water in for humidity will it go back to 99.9? And with a still air do I need to have humidity? Hopefully our little 4 ish hours of 110 won't be too big a deal if we keep it at 99.9

Good, yes you will need humidity and there is nothing wrong with you opening the incubator the first 18 days of incubation---to add warm water---Just do not look at the thermometer right after you close it--LOL. Opening the last 3 days during lock down is ok if you know what you are doing and are a Hands-on -hatcher. If you open mine the last 3 days I will break your arm--LOL, because I am a hands-off-Hatcher. Good Luck

Hahah thank you so much! I'll keep that in mind

X2 with the others.

But I would not chunk the eggs just in case.....still I would start a new run/batch of eggs as well. There's always that chance that some may have survived the ordeal.

Have any of the other eggs piped? If so then there will be more to come, Just wait and see! Thats all you can do......... 36 hours? Give it a couple of days, those that hatched might be early, some hatches may take up to 4 days for all the eggs. I usually cull the late bloomers as they tend to be weaklings.
If the rest do not pip or hatch, you know what happened and will know better the next time.
Order or gather some more eggs if non of the rest hatch and prep to incubate a new batch.

Yeah. None of the other have piped from what I can tell. I guess we will just keep them in there for a couple more days and just see. We got a lot of eggs or we might order some other kinds of quail. But yeah. Thanks for your help!
