My girl passed this morning. I feel so bad that I couldn't save her. I'm a newby to this and my group is now 4. I have 13 babies two weeks old and all are doing well. I hope one is as good a layer and companion as she was.

That's what I thought. I put prebiotic and Amprol 128 in her water with a tablespoon of vinegar. She refuses to eat anything just drinks, however she laid an egg last night so she's not egg bound.

So we tried the vomiting thing again and lots of brown stuff came out. She's still not eating or pooping. Just drinking a lot. She wasn't eat anything I've mixed for her. Tried yogurt and mash mixed with olive oil, no luck. Just stands with her tail downward. I don't know what else typo do...

We poked a hole in the cap of bottled water and gently inserted into rectum to flush empaction. Seemed to help. She's drinking but still not really eating. Still trying to figure out if it's sour crop or impacted poop or egg. Crop is empty and we can't feel any egg upon exam.

Her crop is empty. We did an exam but couldn't feel an egg. When we turned her upside down poop ran out of her mouth. We did a water enima and she seemed to liven back up fairly quickly. She's drinking but not really eating at this point. She's much more alert but still weak and slow.
