Yes, the eye that looks open is the one I'm pretty sure is damaged, because she still keeps trying to open it yet can't see. I think she can see light and possibly shadows, but she can't see well out of it. She's not eating or drinking on her own and just huddles till it's feeding time. I've...
I'm afraid she may have had her left eye pecked out.
I fed her this morning and gave her a little shower in the sink then went to snuggle her by the window and she seemed to be in better spirits but she's not as lively as she was the other day after feeding.. :(
So Phoenix seemed to be doing great, was eating and drinking on her own, so I put her and Lucy back in the big cage with everyone else... then when I went to check on her last night, she was a bloody mess!!! Will post pics..
But I ended up taking her out and cleaning her up, I did put...
It was so quick I couldn't believe it was real.. I mean one second we're snuggling and the next she just open's her eyes and just ready to go lol

Scared the crap out of the cat :lau then within minutes she was like, k.. I'm ready to go LOL
Wow! That was miraculous...
Thank you so much for your response!!

I don't even have a syringe anymore (needed one for when bunny had surgery but that...
I'm thinking this is related to what happened in the past 2 weeks..
I have the bunny cage directly under the quail cage and within the past 2 weeks I completely cleaned out the bunny cage (he's litter trained so a big clean out doesn't happen as often).
Anyways when I was done I took a cotton...
It's hard to say when she ate last as I'm in the middle of packing/hunting down a place to live as I need to move in a month.. I was out most of yesterday. By the time I got home it was very late and she was perched upright when I checked so I didn't bother her for fear to frighten her.
This...
Sorry if this looks odd, I'm new here (signed up 10 mins ago a few hours ago now because I accidentally posted in the chicken forum?) and this is my first post...
Raising quail in my LR for the past year and yesterday one hen was acting funny (neurotic), hours later she had both eyes shut tight...
