Very Sad morning! My husband went out to chemist on the chickens only to find them all dead! Something got in and killed them all. Took one with it!
Yesterday 4 of the roosters got butchered for the freezer. I think a fox took advantage of them being without extra protection so as of now we are...
Our Dorks came from MM, at this point they are still young and putting out small - small-medium eggshell white eggs. We have 8 hen's and get around 3-4 eggs per day. My girl's are beyond sweet and "our" roos are just not as niçe. We'll leave one and find home's for the boys or the freezer.

I an already okay with poopy eggs..I guess it is just part of it. Alas out 9 pullets /ladies are not ready to lay yet... I am sp proud, two are really coming in to them selves. We have 9 ladies and 6 boxes so I guess we are good. No crowding.

Lol...I think they got in the habbit because we did not have their roost in yet but we will move their "new roost" higher! Thanks for the tip. I don't like poopy eggs!!! Not getting any yet but they are still young.
My husband goes out in the morning and when he goes in the coop, he has 4-5 hen and Rooster's pop their head's out from one box :o)
