Advice needed, my husbands job site canceled contract so he had to transfer to a lower paying site for now. I know this month we can't afford to buy a bag of chicken feed. We only have 7 hens so they don't eat much, but we are nearing the end of the bag. Any suggestions? I am in North columbus
Does anyone in the columbus area have hens that lay white eggs? I'm not picky on what breed, we have brown eggs, blue eggs, chocolate eggs, and my husband wants white eggs. I prefer 2 hens that are already laying.
No it won't close and now I have 2 that size. I feel bad for speckle laying those 2. I opened the nesting box when she was in it and she left the coop but came right back in like she couldn't wait. Poor girl.
I'm not sure exactly what breed. I was told the white one and the dark one were ameraucana or EE and the other 2 he said were red sex link. I just started raising chickens at the beginning of September so I don't know much yet.
