Mucha, Sounds like a bad situation (and a learning experience). Is there an authority that this place can be reported to? In my county (Holmes), any non-dog issues go through the sheriff's dept. At least maybe they would go look and make them clean up. Good luck!

Well...the ducks just decided to finally sit. I removed the clear ones (she was sitting on a mound of them). About flipped out though, cause she started sitting on April 1, but no babies came til May 4. Don't know why so long- she was very serious about it and stayed on the nest like a good...

Hi neighbors! From Glenmont, OH (western Holmes county...middle of nowhere). One of my call duck hens is sitting on a nest....fingers crossed - last 2 times they sit for about 18 days or so then decide to leave the nest. Maybe she'll stay this year!

Blessed - I told mom that there was interest if she wanted to part with any of her showgirls.....she didn't say, so in "momspeak" that probably means no...(haha, I'm 48 and she's still talking to me in "momspeak").

Oh, by the way, my mom has a bunch of showgirls and had some chicks. I can see if she wants to part with any.

Yes, it's been very very cold. My pool heater is doing the job though. The 70 gal. landscape pool is warm (???) and toasty. The white calls spend all day in there. They make the new ducks stay out (nasty little guys!), but the new ducks are able to get in occasionally. The heated water...
