So happy to be back up and running!! I have 2 Swedish Flower roosters, I'd like to rehome one. They are friendly. About 6 months old. I just don't have enough girls for them and I'm sure I have a few more roosters coming up from some chicks I bought at TSC. I'm in the Dayton area.
Just wanted to say I can't wait for the time to change. It is so dark in the morning and it makes me really rush to get to work on time after I open my coop! I need an automatic door!
I am lucky that my work is only about 8 minutes from my house!
Well darn. I just checked their website and they are offering free shipping on 25. I really don't want that many! But it would take me 2 1/2 to drive there each way. Hmmmm what to do?????
I will definitely quarantine them, I just was concerned about the space I have. I have a brooder that I can use for the little chicks but these are older. They start selling at 8 weeks- laying age. I just wasn't sure how far away you have to keep them from my existing flock. Leaning towards...

Has anyone ever used High Tunnel Poultry Farm in Marion, Ohio? I would like to expand my flock by about 10 and I'm just debating if I should get some chicks from Rural King, mail order chicks or take a little road trip and get older pullets from this breeder??? My other concern is quarantining...
I am trying to rehome some roosters if anyone is interested? Free!! I live in Miami County. I only have 4 girls laying now and 6 more that are getting close. I have 4 roosters they are about 4 months old, that is just to many. White one is an EE I believe, & 2-Buff Brahma. The Black one is a...
Can anyone help? I have these 2 babies out of my 12 that I thought were for sure roo's. I am second guessing myself on the white one. They are 5-6 weeks old. My hubby picked them out of the straight run bin at Rural King. I thought the white one might be a jersey giant but it has green legs...
