    I still believe a Barred Rock would be the best for you, it fits all of these requirements, besides having the feathered legs. Out of my breeds, the Barred Rocks jump/fly the least amount.

    They are not ABSOLUTELY SILENT but they are on the quieter side of all the breeds, so they should be good for your situation. Hens make lots of noise, but the Barred Rock makes lots of quiet noise.

    Well you should have at least two, and raise them together, if you decide you want more later (if your neighborhood allows) then you can get more, but to make sure your chickens doesn’t get lonely or sad, at least have 2.
