well it's done... I re-homed my entire flock and coop. I feel kinda empty...so sad I put all this time effort and work into these chickens and I dont even get to see their first eggs =o( Yes we will get more chickens but I really loved them. I ended up re-homing nearly the entire flock to one...

I am in Athens, I have a 16x4 coop and 29 birds. mostly pullets and a couple oops roos 2 buff orptington one roo one pullet 2 black jersey giants one roo one pullet 2 light brahma 2 ameracaunas 4 white cochin 2 gold laced wyandotte 2 red sexlinks 2 light brown leghorns 3 black cochin i believe...

that is all we are taking is a uhaul trailer full...starting basically all over. it will be ok but i jsut have to find a buyer for the coop and my birds by the time we move. We will survive and we can start over with chickens it's not the end of the world right?

I have 29 and they are all regular sized birds. I love my brahmas and cochins. If I thought I could move them I would but I have two cats, three dogs and three kids and i just don't see being able to move them =o(

reason #564 to get the pop doors cut...chickens would have put themselves up if i had the ramps and doors working then all we would have had to do was shut the doors. haha heavy rain is always fun

there was a southern states feed store off of lexington rd out here that i went to but it's so far away...i found a feed mill 7 miles from my house i can get 100lbs of food for 25 bucks. i am a happy girl they also sell it in bulk so i won't be buying 20 buck 50lbs bags any more
