I am near Columbus about an hour South of you and I am going with plenty of ventilation. And putting the coop in a shady area near the lake. I have hatchery RIRs,EEs, and BRs and will add a trio of HRIRs soon.
Since we have been in sevdre drought for a few years now I can't complain about the rain, the pond is up so will be good fishing (even if it's so high its in the yard), and the trees look good this year. I want to finish my coop so I can move the girls out of the grow out coop.
Pallet boards I have painted have four coats, two of barn red paint and two of pollen. The storm coming this way will let me know how sound my construction is :)
