Yes they have roosting poles to roost at night. I let them out through the day and they go back in there house at night. The roosting pole that I ordered is supposed to keep them warm. I'm more worried about at night for them. I've read up on the heated pad and pole and I think it will at least...
I'm getting a heated roosting pole and I am getting a flat pad that heats up. The chickens can get on both and it should keep them warm until it starts to warm up again. We usually don't get cold weather like this.
Yes he's eating and drinking. They're water has frozen but we live beside a creek and they have been going down to the creek but before they go in there house, I take water out there for them so that they can have something to drink before they roost.
