    Rooster stop crowing

He won't let me grab him. He wasn't scared like that before. He has no tail feathers, that's why I'm so worried about him being in the cold weather.

    Rooster stop crowing

Yes they have roosting poles to roost at night. I let them out through the day and they go back in there house at night. The roosting pole that I ordered is supposed to keep them warm. Rooster stop crowing

I'm getting a heated roosting pole and I am getting a flat pad that heats up. The chickens can get on both and it should keep them warm until it starts to warm up again. We usually don't get cold weather like this.

He seems to be acting a little bit better today. He just crowed around 2 o'clock. They act like they are sensitive to cold weather. He is eating better too.

    Rooster stop crowing

It's been between 0 to 15 degrees. I can see them shiver. Snow is on the ground and they absolutely don't like the snow. They all are huddled together. They won't scratch the ground, I guess because of the snow.

    Rooster stop crowing

Something got a hold of my rooster 2 weeks ago and he hasn't crow since then. It's been very cold here too and I thought that might have a little bit to do with it. I'm getting safe chicken heaters but won't be here until Wednesday. They're not in a coop either. I just have them in a closed...
