Runny yellow clear discharge from cloaca

O.K. Let's give @casportpony a yell! Kathy, can you take a look at the poop for us. I agree with you, the poop is not right and it could very well be Clostridium. But it's really hard to know without testing.

Can you get a gram stain on a sample of that poop?

Glad you were able to get a fecal float! Does the vet you work for have a Vet Drug Manual - you may want to look up the praziquantel dosage. Fenbendazole dosage is 1/4 ml per pound for 5 days in a row. Are you planning on giving both de-wormers at the same time?

What a lovely girl!!!:) LOL I can't help but give a giggle over her expression - the muff (beard) makes it even better:lol: I'm glad she is doing a bit better. Has she been eating a lot of greens? Great idea to have a fecal done.

Glad she is still going. You may want to put the oyster shell in a little cup for her, not mix it with the feed. Hopefully the discharge and whatever else is in there will clear out. I think she may have had a soft shell egg burst in there.

The vitamins look like they would be fine, just follow the package directions for chickens. O.k. Sometimes there is confusion about oyster shell. You being in Canada, they may call it oyster shell grit? Not sure. Anyway, you do want to provide oyster shell free choice for extra calcium...

@Eggcessive @casportpony Is it yellow or green? Photo of her poop? Personally I don't think that is Vent Gleet which is usually white and pasty - it would be on the vent and surrounding skin, probably the Monistat is o.k. to use topically for Gleet. You can use athlete's foot cream as well...

Do you have any photos of the discharge? Is it like egg yolk or white? It's hard to know, but maybe she has a soft shell or laying glitch - does the discharge look anything like this minus the shell? https://hencam.com/henblog/2015/08/a-laying-glitch/
