    @casportpony She weighs 2 kg right? So at 4mg per kg, she needs 8mg of thiamine. If the b complex is 100 mg of thiamine per ml, is that not 0.12 ml? I misunderstood, so don’t give that. Please wait for @casportpony ’s instructions. Whew my brain is smoking...

    I came to the party a bit late, but Kiki, why are there posts about thiamine (B1) and posts about how much B12 rooster booster has in it? I thought we were talking about thiamine.

    It looks like she weighs 2 .2kg (4.6 pounds,) so the dosage according to the chart should be 0.25 ml or 1/4 ml, right? Is your insulin syringe 1 ml or 100 units? Then give 1/4 ml or 25 units. Please make sure the insulin syringe is 1 ml.

    Gentian violet is an antimicrobial, antifungal. It is the blue in BluKote. It can help treat candida. If this would be a recurring or chonic type of fowl pox, much of th literature says to not disturb scabs. Even dropped scabs from an infected chicken can spread the disease.

    B complex tablets are fine to crush and add to feed. Many people also use nutritional yeast as well. I would use 1/4 of a tablet per bird. It is not accurate, but B complex is usually excreted in the kidneys.
