Metzer farms has good pictures of WH duck and drake Not sure what age they start breeding. They will breed with whoever regardless of what they look like, so any babies would be crosses unless you separate them into same breed groups. Hope that helps :)

Where I live layer crumble is about $17/50# bag and 40# bucket of clumping cat litter is about $16 or so. Petsmart is kinda far away so don't go there often at all, except for flea/tick stuff for the dogs and cats. @arnaudgf, hope you learn soon if it's a duck or drake! :)

I use chicken layer crumble as cat litter- works awesome, a bag lasts longer than clay (2cats, 2 boxes= 2 months per 50# bag) and is soooo much cheaper than clay clumping (40# bucket only lasted me 2 weeks for about same price)

Well, I think I have just about convinced hubby that adding some WH's to our zoo (2dogs, 2 cats, 4 koi, and a few bettas) should be done. Will be my first foray into having birds of any kind, and I have always loved duckies. I really like the thought of having fresh eggs and am just not that...
