    Both can swell. Go to the search icon and type in splinting broken toe I’m sure you’ll get a ton of hits. I’ve seen people make like a little cardboard “shoe” for under the foot and the tape wraps around it.

    We’ve all done these things. I almost slammed the door on one who decided just for fun she’d stick her foot back out at the very last nanosecond. Could have easily amputated toes at the very least... possibly much more. Ugh. They give me a heart attack some days.

    Accidents happen. Don’t beat yourself up. Just watching for now. Although if you suspect a broken toe I’d definitely splint it with something then wrap with a strip of vet wrap or other soft type of tape that isn’t terribly sticky, because you’ll have to change it and don’t want to hurt the...
