    Yeah I guess, but my ducks like to eat the little pieces so I just get regular. Whatever you think you need to do will work.

    I woulds use straw. Hay is for feeding livestock not for bedding! I use straw and the ducks love it!

    You might, in the winter, want to put tarps up on the open walled side to prevent drafts and wind. Do you plan on free ranging? I think, cuz I have not read the whole thread, I have missed some stuff.
