    They were originally to be used for laying but one had an issue with some metal ingestion so I was like "OK let's not waste her and" harvest" her because I plan to get more and I figured I'd have to have the males harvested eventually if I purchased a few non sexed hatchlings but I feel bad...

    Just had someone slaughter a duck for me... First one out of the four I bought last spring ... Didn't watch .. Turned around but I heard it die then watched them butcher it ... Looking out at my flock of only three now... Could use a hug
