When it rains do your chickens go into their coops?

Mine have access to go wherever, they can easily get under or over wood horse fencing... but they stay real close to the activity. In the morning they usually take a wide lap about 150-250 feet from the coop in a big circle and then stay close to their coop and horse areas.

When it rains do your chickens go into their coops?

I live in TX. The hens free range in the day. They’re always close to the coop during rain, seeking shelter but never in the coop unless it’s also very very dark. They just sit in horse stalls or under overhangs or under trailers for the most part during rain.
