Oh my word! 16/22 were roosters?! I love chickens, but I already have so much on my plate. I do agree that everything happens for a reason. Maybe I'm getting an early lesson in helping a sick chicken? I just pray this isn't going to continue to be a trend!

I do have the new hens quarantined out of precaution. How am I suppose to find a breeder with healthy chickens when I am being told the birds are healthy. I told the breeder about my first bad experience and she promised me her hens were healthy. Who can you trust?
