Also one needs to remember that the hatchery's sell American Orpingtons not English Orpingtons. Comparing American Orps to English Orps is like comparing oranges to grapefruit.- Gray Farms

I wouldn't show them. Breed them to a Black Orpington. Then breed the offspring back to the Lavender. This will improve their genetics.- Gray Farms
